Message from the founder
Greetings, from...
Handy Sandy Services was founded in 2014, by Joe Sandilands, in Townsville, North Queensland. Handy Sandy Services is a family owned company, and we pride ourselves on our professional service, and we will always go out of our way to help you out.
After discharging from the Army in 2015, he went full time into his business, completing many jobs, learning many skills and hard lessons. The Mission he came into the business with, and developed over time, was to ensure everyone, young, old or impaired, could receive the best quality service.
The Sandilands family moved to Yungaburra in late 2016, chasing calmer waters, away from Townsville, to raise their young daughter.
Handy Sandy developed better work ethics and time management skills, to work on weekends and during the week around a full time job as a Farm hand.
With all the quality work and value provided to the Tablelands, the Sandilands where able to purchase a house in Malanda, with now two children in tow.
Our Mission has evolved over time, to provide excellent quality of service to All the Families on the Tablelands, and eventually, all of Australia.

Yard maintenance
Yard maintenance includes;
Mowing, Whipper snipping, Herbiciding, Tree pruning, Hedging, Weeding, Retaining wall construction, Gutter cleaning, etc.

Carpentry
Carpentry includes;
Framing, Plastering, Painting, Internal maintenance, Cleaning, Glass replacement, Door hanging, etc. As a note, I can only complete works up to $3300, including GST.

Cleaning includes;
External wall soft washing, Roof pressure washing, driveway cleaning, window and solar cleaning, just to name a few.
